Music Classes for Children
Suzuki School of Newton offers a number of instrumental and pre-instrumental music classes for newborns through high school students.

The Core Program
The majority of our students are enrolled in the Core Program, which utilized four components: a weekly individual lesson, a weekly group class, a weekly musicianship class, and regular performances in our solo recital series. This program is primarily for students age 5 and up, and students are expected to be in this program for up to six years before reaching the advanced program.
Early Beginners
Children aged 3.5-5 may benefit from our Early Beginners program, a once-a-week group class that serves as an introduction to their chosen instrument and as preparation for entering the Core program.
Suzuki Early Childhood Class
Children aged 0-4 are encouraged to join SECE or Suzuki Prep, our pre-instrumental classes that meet once a week and build musical skills through songs and movement.

Parent Information Sessions
Join us at one of our information sessions for prospective parents! We will introduce the basic principles of the Suzuki Method and give an overview of the programs offered here at the Suzuki School of Newton. Come with your questions!
