The Suzuki School of Newton is a non-profit charitable organization. Tuition only covers a percentage of operating costs. We depend on the generosity of our community to enable the full range of educational and cultural services we offer.

Since its founding in 1986 by Gwendoline Thornblade, our school has continually instilled a lifelong love of music and learning in its students. Based on the teaching philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, we endeavor to develop noble hearted human beings and build self-respect, self-confidence, and self-discipline.

You may choose to direct your gift in one of three ways, each supporting the school in a meaningful way. Renovate to Elevate! supports improvements to the school’s physical spaces so they can better serve teaching, learning, and community life. A gift to Scholarships expands access to Suzuki education for more students and families. Annual Fund provides flexible funding that allows the school to respond where the need is greatest and helps sustain its mission through the full range of its programs and operations.
