Violin Refresher

Do you have a violin laying around the house? Perhaps you took lessons in school, dropped the violin, but want to pick it back up. Join us and benefit from the support, encouragement, and community found through Suzuki music instruction. The Suzuki Method is considered one of the easiest methods for learning to play an instrument because you learn to play by ear with others. We will review violin techniques and foster a beautiful tone while playing as a group. In no time, you'll find yourself dusting off your violin skills and making beautiful music.

How to Play the Violin

It's never too late to learn a new talent. Join us and learn to play the violin. The Suzuki Method is considered to be one of the easiest ways to learn to play a musical instrument because you'll learn to play by ear even before you learn to read music. Our instructor will break each new skill into its smallest components so students of all aptitudes can learn, regardless of their previous musical experience. In addition, You will benefit from the support, encouragement, and community provided by playing with other beginners. You'll leave class with a good foundation of violin technique and the joy of having achieved a beautiful tone while playing with others.

Suzuki Violin Group Lesson (Grades K-2)

Join us and learn to play the violin using the Suzuki method. Suzuki students learn to play by ear before they start to read music. Our instructor will break each skill into its smallest component parts so students of all ages and aptitudes are able to learn, regardless of their previous musical experience. In this group class, students will have an opportunity for social interaction as they work on performance techniques in an environment built on trust. The confidence they gain here will serve them well in future public performances and will help them overcome challenges that life may send their way.

Note: Students will need to have an appropriately-sized violin for this class. We highly recommend renting an instrument as growing children will need to change sizes regularly and should not start on an instrument that is too big for them.
